SPA Biennial Exhibition - call for entries

To all CCC members who are interested in participating in this important event in the Surrey Photographic Association (SPA) calendar. A summary of timescales and key details are shown below. For those interested a full set of instructions, timescales, rules and forms will be sent to you by Ann Rayers.
1. Ann Rayers is the CCC Club Liaison Officer who will co-ordinate form submission, payments and delivery of prints.
2. This is an excellent opportunity to have some of your work accepted for an exhibition that will reach a wide audience (there are also some trophies, ribbons and medals to be awarded)
3. If you have never visited the exhibition before there are slideshows of the accepted 2024 images that can be found HERE
4. Deadline for entries and submission of forms 31st January 2026 (details of how to do this to follow)
5. Dates of Exhibition is 10th April - 2nd May 2026
6. Venue is Guildford House Gallery, High Street, Guildford (Mon-Sat)
7. There are five categories - Colour Prints, Monochrome Prints, Nature Prints, Open PDI, Nature PDI (up to 4 images per category)
8. Entry fees are £8 for the first category entered and £6 for each additional category. However, this year CCC will generously pay £6 towards your entry provided you enter at least three categories
9. This year SPA have introduced a 'Newbie' category for Open PDI with a £6 fee. Only for those members who are first time entrants to the Biennial Exhibition, hold no distinctions or accreditations and have never had an image selected to represent their club in Inter-Club competitions. You cannot enter any other category if you take advantage of this.

Please note that the CCC sub-committee prioritise high scoring Biennial acceptances to represent the club in future SPA Inter-Club competitions.
